It was love at first email.

When Amy and Keenan reached out to share that they were planning an intimate wedding centered around Jesus and their love for Him, I knew I had to be a part of it.

From the moment I arrived at McKernan Baptist Church, the joy was palpable. The air was filled with excitement, from the final touches when the girls were putting on their dresses, to the highly anticipated first look and private vows the couple had planned.

Their vows were beautifully sincere—full of love, devotion, and promises for their future together. Listening to the way they spoke of each other and of Christ brought tears to my eyes. Then, surrounded by their closest family and friends, Amy and Keenan shared worship songs, partook in communion, and, with joyful hearts, said, “I do.” The room erupted in applause as Keenan kissed his bride, sealing their vows and the start of their new life together. As they walked down the aisle, hand-in-hand, they radiated pure delight.

Though the air was frosty, they had no hesitation about stepping outside for their photos. Between tender kisses, quiet moments, and shared giggles, every image captured was one they could cherish for years to come. The Edmonton Country Club, an absolutely stunning venue which provided the perfect backdrop for their wedding memories.

At the reception, their friends and family shared heartfelt stories, brimming with affection and love. It was clear to everyone how deeply their families cared for them—and for each other.

It was truly an honor and a privilege to be a part of such a thoughtfully planned and prayerfully considered wedding day. Amy and Keenan, thank you for trusting me to document your beautiful journey.

Love,

Shania
